Recent case highlights:
-Acted for a shareholder in a Malaysian company, in a breach of trust claim against a co-shareholder and sole director. The claim of MYR 3,032,000 and succeeded in the Singapore High Court. The defendant appealed the decision to the Appellate Division of the High Court of the Republic of Singapore, but the appeal was dismissed.
-Acted for an asset management company in relation to claims for payment of commission and safe custody charges amounting to USD 7.7 million.
-Acted for a CTO of an information Technology solutions company on a Statutory Derivative Action under S216A of the Companies Act against the CEO of the company for breach of fiduciary duties, misuse of confidential information, and failing to exercise reasonable care.
-Acted for two shareholders of a company in the High Court Suit defence against a minority shareholder for alleged claims of minority oppression under S216 of the Companies Act.
-Advised a subsidiary of a US-based world leader in augmented and virtual reality academic and industry training solutions in the defence against claims for commission and salary pursuant to an employment contract.
