History and Vision
Our firm was founded by Colin Stevenson and Maureen Whelton based on a shared vision of excellence in advocacy and client service. In 2024 we became Whelton Hiutin LLP following the appointment of Colin Stevenson as a judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. All of our lawyers are dedicated to our twin goals: results and service. We listen attentively, we plan carefully and we achieve our clients’ objectives through fearless advocacy and a commitment to excellence and integrity in everything we do. We are always ready to help our clients tackle their biggest and most complex challenges.
Community
Our lawyers are leaders in the legal profession and in their communities. We are actively involved in numerous community and legal organizations, are frequent writers and presenters on civil litigation and professional issues and are dedicated mentors and coaches both within and outside our firm.
