David takes a holistic approach to his cases in order to find efficient and practical real-world solutions for his clients. He represents clients in a diverse group of practice areas, with a focus on contractual claims and civil liability, and has particular expertise managing complex and multi-party disputes.
A former law clerk to the Honourable Michel Bastarache of the Supreme Court of Canada, he has taught Evidence and Trial Advocacy at McGill Law School. David also pursues issues of social justice as a director of the Raoul Wallenberg Centre for Human Rights.
David is recognized as a leading litigator by major industry publications such as Benchmark Litigation, Lexpert®, and Best Lawyers, and has pleaded before all levels of court in Canada, including the Supreme Court.
