Graham Walker is a Partner in the BLG Vancouver office and is the National Group Head - Specialized Disputes. He practises transportation law (with a focus on maritime and railway), environmental law, insurance claim defense and general commercial litigation.
Graham has acted as counsel on numerous marine casualties, terminal and cargo claims, environmental prosecutions and civil disputes involving environmental issues. For example: land development impacts, air pollution, migrating pollution, fisheries issues, transport of dangerous goods, agricultural issues, heritage issues, First Nations issues, mining issues, forestry issues, and administrative matters.
Graham is recognized as leading counsel by Benchmark Litigation Canada, The Best Lawyers in Canada and Lexpert. He is also the Director of the Canadian Maritime Law Association and past Managing Partner of BLG Vancouver (2017-2021).
Education: Graham received his LLB from the University of British Columbia (1993).
He was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1994.
