Christian & Small is pleased to announce that the firm has elevated Shauncey H. Ridgeway and Priscilla K. Shauncey H. Ridgeway joined the firm in 2019 with the opening of the Christian & Small office in Jackson, Mississippi, and focuses her practice on insurance matters, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, and real estate. She is licensed in Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana, and is a member of all three state bar associations. Shauncey also serves on the Bank Attorneys Committee for the Mississippi Banker’s Association and is the immediate past co-chair of the Diversity and Inclusion subcommittee for the Defense Research Institute’s Young Lawyer Committee. Shauncey frequently volunteers to judge advocacy competitions hosted by the Mississippi College School of Law’s Moot Court Board and has now co-coached two award-winning teams for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s National Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. She was recognized in 2021 and 2022 by Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers: Mid-South Rising Stars®. The Mississippi Business Journal most recently named Shauncey as one of their 2022 Leaders in Law. Shauncey is a graduate of Louisiana State University and Mississippi College School of Law.

Priscilla K. Williams joined the firm in 2019 and focuses her civil defense litigation practice on construction defect matters, insurance, premises liability, and transportation. She is a 2021 graduate of the Birmingham Bar Association Future Leaders Forum, was named to the Birmingham Business Journal’s 2021 NextGenBHM: Law Awards, and has been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch 2021-2023. She serves on the firm’s DEI Committee and is a member of the Birmingham, Alabama, and Mississippi Bar Associations. Outside of her practice, Priscilla is a member of the Birmingham Junior League and serves on the Junior Board of the YWCA. She is a graduate of The University of Alabama and Washington and Lee University School of Law.
