Baldev Bhinder, a former energy and resources partner at Joseph Tan Jude Benny, has launched a boutique firm called Blackstone & Gold.
As an energy and commodities focused firm, it aims to offer services in the areas of mining, shipping, processing and storage, trading and production in countries like China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Bhinder has more than 14 years of experience with particular expertise in the oil and gas and commodities sectors, specialising on cross border disputes and international arbitration across the region.
The size of the firm is unclear at this point as well as exact number of lawyers who left JTJB with Bhinder.
