Husch Blackwell has hired a new senior labor and employment counsel in Kansas.
Tyler Hibler joins the firm's healthcare, life sciences and education industry team from Sanders Warren Russell & Scheer. He focuses on labor and employment matters.
Hibler advises on general litigation and matters of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle-blower, wage and hour, restrictive covenants, breach of contract and employment tort claims cases.
Recent case highlights include advising a Kansas City area construction company in a series of lawsuits connected with a large fire and explosion that occurred on Kansas City's Country Club Plaza. The consolidated litigation was comprised of more than 20 separate lawsuits involving claims of wrongful death, catastrophic injury, extensive property damage and business interruption losses.
