For 27 years IFLR1000 – the guide to the world’s leading financial law firms - has produced rankings and market intelligence for lawyers working in financial law globally. Last year’s research saw submissions from 2,500 of the world’s top law firms.
Now for the first time we are compiling rankings of law firms and lawyers for each of the 50 US states and the District of Columbia. The research and editorial methodology mirrors that of Benchmark Litigation, culminating in the publication of law firm rankings, individual lawyer recommendations and law firm reviews. We are contacting firms that have had or currently have interactions with Benchmark to notify them of this opportunity to further enhance the profile of the firms’ corporate and transactional practices (where applicable).
The practice areas covered in each state will be determined by the depth of the market. The core practice areas covered across all states are:
- Banking
- Capital markets
- M&A
- Restructuring and insolvency
The research is now underway and we invite all relevant law firms to participate in the process. Research forms are due on February 13th 2018, and rankings and editorial will be published in print and online in June 2018.
