King & Spalding has hired a new partner to its growing London white-collar and investigations team.
Robert Dedman joins the firm after previously leading the Bank of England’s regulatory division as chief counsel. Prior to that Dedman was a senior director at Navigant, a consulting company, advising on investigations and compliance. He also worked at Macfarlanes between 2002 and 2005.
Dedman will be joining King & Spalding after a year of increasing white-collar hires for the firm including Gareth Rees QC from the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
