Holman Fenwick Willan (HFW) has hired two new partners and their team to launch its industrial relations and employment practice in Australia.

Brendan Milne and Mark Sant both join the firm from Dentons where they advised on a range of employment and industrial relations matters, from human resources strategies to employment agreement negotiations and workplace dispute resolution.

Milne was the director of the employment and labour team at Dentons, while Sant was a partner in Denton’s employment and labour group.

The development comes at a time when Australia’s employment law regime is in flux, with several changes in 2018 including amendments in protection for whistleblowers, family and domestic violence leave, and flexible working arrangements.
