Stroock & Stroock & Lavan has hired a new IP litigation partner in New York.
Timothy Gilman joins the New York office as head of patent litigation from Kirkland & Ellis. Gilman is an intellectual property litigator who has experience across a range of industries and technologies. Previously Gilman has had success in trials and litigations which includes industries such as energy, computer technology, life sciences and industrial manufacturing.
The hiring of Gilman is the seventh lateral hire in 2019.
