In one highlight, the team successfully defended the owner of a group of import-export businesses, against a claim by his son for the majority of a subsidiary supermarket premised on an alleged oral contract. The claim raised issues concerning the formation of an oral contract, as well as the standard of proof to satisfy the intentions to create legal relations requirement in a familial context.
