Competition/antitrust
Bradley Justus handles a wide range of antitrust work, from high-stakes litigation and mega-merger reviews to government investigations.
Bradley’s practice has seen him represent clients in some of the most high-profile and complex antitrust litigations and deal reviews. He’s appeared in courts across the country and before the U.S. Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. His experience extends globally, having represented clients before competition regulators in Europe, Brazil, China, Korea, Canada, Mexico, the UK, and Japan.
His impressive track record includes being at the forefront of defending Google and Tyson Foods in recent headline-making antitrust litigations. He also recently played a crucial role in negotiating Tyson’s successful resolution of a significant multidistrict litigation. He helped Momenta Pharmaceuticals resolve a contentious dispute over its blockbuster generic blood thinner enoxaparin, securing a positive outcome after a trial loss before Axinn was retained.
Bradley also maintains a significant practice securing antitrust clearances for major mergers. He was one of the key leaders responsible for obtaining clearance for The Dow Chemical’s $130 billion merger with DuPont – one of the largest and most complex merger reviews in history, requiring approval in more than 20 jurisdictions.
Recognized for his exceptional work, Bradley has been named a “Rising Star” by Law360 and The National Law Journal. These honors reflect his impressive track record in handling complex antitrust matters and his reputation for excellence in the field. In January 2022, Bradley was short-listed for Global Competition Review “Lawyer of the Year – Under 40”, an award given to “a competition lawyer under the age of 40 whose superior technical skill, practical judgment and excellence in client service in 2021 demonstrates that they are among the very best in the field.” He is ranked in Chambers and The Legal 500 United States and was selected for Benchmark Litigation’s “2023 40 & Under” list.
Early in his career, Bradley served as editor for the Virginia Law Review and clerked for Judge Eugene E. Siler, Jr., of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
