Danielle Fuschetti is an experienced employment lawyer practicing in California and Vermont. Danielle represents workers in cases ranging from severance negotiations to high-stakes class actions, under wage-and-hour law and laws prohibiting discrimination, retaliation, and harassment.
Danielle possesses over a decade of experience in employment law, spanning both sides of the aisle. Danielle began her legal career advising and defending corporations on employment matters at a Tier-One employer defense firm. She subsequently joined an elite nationwide civil rights firm, where she was ultimately promoted to partner and Co-chair of the firm's employment Discrimination and Harassment Practice Group. Danielle has also worked at a highly-regarded California wage-and-hour class action firm where she represented employees in dozens of wage and hour class actions, collective actions, and PAGA actions.
Danielle has successfully tried cases to verdict, has helped employees to recover tens of millions of dollars through verdicts, settlements, and severance agreements, and has supported employees in making concrete changes to their workplaces to protect the rights of workers for years to come through class actions. Over her career at top employee rights law firms, Danielle has represented employees in successful severance negotiations, single-plaintiff lawsuits, class actions, and Private Attorney General Actions, such as the below:
Representing a female former employee in securing a $7.5 million settlement on behalf of a class of women at Western Digital based on claims of sex discrimination and unequal pay
Representing thousands of hourly employees in dozens of wage-and-hour class or PAGA actions, including cases resulting in seven- and eight- figure recoveries
Defeating forced arbitration agreement so that class claims for unpaid wages and meal and rest breaks could proceed against Men's Warehouse on behalf of class of non-exempt California employees
Negotiating six- and seven- figure settlements for employees in the fields of technology, healthcare, law, fintech, and startups
Representing female employees in securing $19.5 million dollar settlement on behalf of a class of women at Qualcomm based on claims of sex discrimination and equal pay
Co- trial counsel in a California Private Attorney General Action brought on behalf of thousands of sales employees through two liability trials, resulting in decisions recognizing that Oracle violated state laws and failed to fully and timely pay employees earned commissions
Co- trial counsel for Beth Burns, the winningest women’s basketball coach in the history of San Diego State University, in her claim for retaliatory discharge against the university, resulting in a jury verdict of over $3.3 million
In 2023, Danielle relocated from California to the East Coast. In 2025, Danielle was admitted to the bar in Vermont and launched her own practice representing employees in both California and Vermont.
Danielle holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Michigan School of Law. During college and law school, Danielle clerked for multiple legal aid organizations providing services to indigent clients and at the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Appeals Division, in Washington, D.C.
