A partner in the Litigation Department, Gregory F. Laufer focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters. Greg’s experience has involved representing clients in securities litigation, bankruptcy and restructuring matters, employment law, intellectual property matters and complex commercial disputes. He also has worked on international arbitrations, regulatory matters and internal investigations.

On a pro bono basis, Greg has represented clients in civil rights litigation, asylum proceedings, unemployment insurance hearings and sentencing reduction proceedings. He has argued pro bono appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Before joining the Firm, Greg served as a law clerk for Judge D. Michael Fisher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and former Chief Judge Curtis V. Gómez of the United States District Court of the Virgin Islands.

While in law school, Greg was an editor of the Cornell Law Review. He also interned in the chambers of Justice Asher D. Grunis of the Supreme Court of Israel in Jerusalem and for a prosecution team at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in Arusha, Tanzania.
