As Chair of UB Greensfelder’s Litigation Department, Mike is a nationally recognized trial lawyer who is trusted by his clients to handle their most critical disputes. His practice includes complex civil litigation, focusing on commercial and financial services matters. Mike has represented clients across the country in a broad range of matters, including defending commercial, banking, professional liability, securities, broker-dealer, class action, consumer, product liability, pharmaceutical, and medical device cases. He frequently serves as a mediator and arbitrator, helping find solutions in contentious and complicated disputes.
Over the course of his career, he has represented one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical distributors, defended Fortune 500 companies, large securities firms, national investment banks, national retailers, law firms, and telecom companies in complex commercial litigation.
Mike brings a determined, decisive, and results-oriented approach to his cases, which has resulted in his recognition as one of the top trial lawyers in the United States. In 2024, Mike was inducted into Benchmark Litigation’s Hall of Fame, which annually honors litigators with “illustrious careers and considerable achievements.” He leads a department of more than 125 talented litigators in handling complex, cutting-edge matters for clients across the country, and his department has earned continual recognition as Benchmark’s “Ohio Firm of the Year.” Benchmark has also named Mike one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America for ten consecutive years.
Mike is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and previously served as President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
