Seung Nam Yoo

Seung Nam Yoo is a partner and chair of Yoon & Yang’s Corporate Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Yoo focuses his practice on general commercial litigation. Mr. Yoo offers his clients expertise in civil litigation, white collar criminal defense, and administrative trial proceedings ranging from commercial contract disputes to matters involving criminal defense before the courts. Prior to joining Yoon & Yang, Mr. Yoo served as a Judge at the Seoul Central District Court and the Seoul High Court, a Professor of Judicial Research & Training Institute, and a Presiding Judge of the Seoul Western District Court.

Successfully represented the Seongnam City government in litigation with regard to the city’s revocation of permit for urban development project after around 4 years of legal disputes between the Seongnam City government and the landlord regarding the Industrial Complex 1 Urban Development Project.
