Described in Benchmark Litigation as one of the “brightest litigators [in] the U.S.” and in Chambers as “incredibly smart” and “tenacious, engaging and hard charging,” Vicki Chou is an accomplished trial lawyer and a key member of both the Trials and White Collar and Investigations teams. She is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the preeminent organization of trial lawyers in North America, which is composed of less than one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. Ms. Chou has successfully tried over 11 cases as lead counsel and won each of her appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
In addition to being recognized as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation, Ms. Chou is ranked in “Litigation: White Collar Crime & Government Investigations” by Chambers. She was named as one of the “Top White Collar Lawyers” and the “Top Women Lawyers” by the Daily Journal. Among many other accolades, she has also been recognized among the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Top 100 Lawyers,” “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys,” “Women of Influence: Attorneys” and “Minority Leaders of Influence: Attorneys.”
A former assistant U.S. attorney in the Central District of California, Ms. Chou represented the U.S. in hundreds of criminal cases involving computer and internet fraud, intellectual property, money laundering, bank fraud, tax fraud, and racketeering offenses.
