Hamish has served as lead counsel in jury and bench trials worth billions of dollars and has argued and won numerous appeals. His high-profile successes include winning an $812 million jury award for investors of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, developing the class action that resulted in the largest antitrust recovery without a government investigation, winning a novel government contracting case enforcing the commercial item preference rule for the first time, and leading the firm’s efforts on behalf of Barclays in matters relating to the Lehman Brothers collapse.

In addition to general commercial litigation, Hamish’s practice includes antitrust law, administrative law, constitutional law, government contracts, healthcare, and gaming law.
