Attorney Liu Ping holds a Master of Finance and Financial Management from Tsinghua University–The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as well as a Master of Laws.
In 2024, Liu Ping joined Jingtian & Gongcheng. Previously, he served as an attorney and partner at Beijing Guantao (Shenzhen) Law Firm and Beijing Shangquan (Shenzhen) Law Firm.
He primarily focuses on dispute resolution (criminal litigation, criminal accusations), and anti-bribery & anti-corruption investigations.
Attorney Liu Ping is a lawyer with a profound sense of legal professionalism. He is not only chivalrous and righteous—courageously seeking justice for the vulnerable and pursuing fairness—but also demonstrates outstanding case-handling capabilities and creative thinking. He excels in integrating multidisciplinary knowledge to resolve complex legal dilemmas.
He has earned unanimous recognition from prosecutors, police, and fellow lawyers for his deep expertise in criminal law, exceptional courtroom defense skills, client meetings characterized by humanistic care, comprehensive and meticulous case file review, rigorous evidence analysis, and powerful defense pleadings. With the goal of "maximizing client interests," he emphasizes evidence analysis, dissects case files layer by layer, and conducts thorough, detailed, and in-depth case evaluations to identify case breakthroughs, clarify facts, and ensure the accurate application of law.
He is adept at "translating" complex commercial and financial transaction models into evidential logic recognized by the court. Furthermore, his litigation capabilities are reflected in his mastery of "procedural" and "evidential." By leading evidence collection and working with forensic accountants and financial experts to build defense systems, he can intervene as early as the investigation stage to effectively mitigate procedural risks and achieve pre-trial case dismissal.
He excels in professional and efficient communication with regulatory and investigative authorities, skillfully formulating optimal defense strategies within compliance frameworks to secure acquittals or reduced charges.
