Andrew Pozzobon is a Calgary-based partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and National Co‑Leader of the firm’s Energy and Power Focus Group. He is an experienced commercial litigator with a practice focused on complex energy disputes, contractual and shareholder disputes, and commercial arbitration. Andrew regularly acts in matters involving energy contracts, royalties, operator disputes, misuse of confidential information, fiduciary duty claims and other commercial torts. He also maintains a labour and employment practice, advising employers on wrongful dismissal claims, restrictive covenants, human rights complaints and occupational health and safety matters. Andrew has appeared as lead counsel before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and Court of Appeal, as well as courts in British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and in a range of administrative and arbitral proceedings

Andrew was called to the Alberta Bar in 2013. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Calgary Bar Association. His community involvement includes longstanding pro bono and volunteer work with Calgary Legal Guidance and Pro Bono Law Alberta, and he previously served on the board of the Calgary Wildlife Rehabilitation Society.
