Patricia (Trish) Morrison, K.C. is a Calgary‑based partner at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and National Group Head of the firm’s Disputes - Commercial & Construction group. Her practice focuses on complex construction disputes and risk management on large‑scale commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. Trish has extensive experience in the mediation, arbitration and litigation of construction matters, including disputes involving tenders and RFPs, construction contracts, liens, design and engineering issues, construction deficiencies, cost overruns and delay. She also advises clients on front‑end project matters such as procurement strategies, project delivery models, contract negotiation and drafting, including P3 agreements, and provides project advisory services throughout the lifecycle of major developments.

Trish devotes a substantial amount of time to industry and professional associations. She is a Fellow and President of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, a past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s National Construction Law Section, and a former director of the Calgary Construction Association. Her community involvement includes long‑standing service as a director of the Famous 5 Foundation.
