Yusfa Perdana is an Indonesian dispute resolution lawyer specialising in commercial litigation and complex dispute resolution. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Perdana & Rekan Law Firm, where he leads the firm’s litigation and corporate matters practice. 

Yusfa has an extensive experience representing both multinational corporations and individuals in a wide range of disputes, including commercial and contractual matters, shareholder conflicts, employment disputes, land and property disputes. In addition, he advises on corporate and commercial matters, including corporate governance, enabling him to assist clients in anticipating, mitigating, and strategically managing potential disputes from a commercial perspective. His practice also covers arbitration, intellectual property, state administrative, family, and criminal law matters, and he regularly represents clients before Indonesian courts at various levels and the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI). 

His experience includes handling high-value and cross-border disputes, often working alongside international counsel from jurisdictions such as Singapore, Malaysia, and other key financial centers. 

Yusfa has advised and represented clients across multiple industries, including mining and energy, aviation, manufacturing, and financial services. His work includes acting in complex litigation involving significant claim values, arbitration proceedings, and enforcement of international arbitral awards in Indonesia. 

Under Yusfa’s excellent leadership, Perdana & Rekan has received notable recognition from leading legal publications, including Asia Business Law Journal and Asian Legal Business, and has been acknowledged as a rising law firm and dispute resolution boutique firm in Indonesia by Asian Legal Business in 2025. 

Yusfa is an active member of the Association of Indonesian Advocates (PERADI) and is recognised for his strong litigation skills, strategic approach, and ability to handle complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes. 

  • Handled a landmark USD133 million multi-jurisdictional shareholder dispute involving Indonesia and Singapore, securing the full restoration of strategic shareholding rights through coordinated cross-border litigation.
  • Advised on a complex USD35.5 million multi-jurisdictional corporate dispute involving Indonesia and Malaysia, contributing to a significant Malaysian High Court decision clarifying the common law framework on recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.
  • Managed large-scale workforce disputes, including mass termination cases involving more than 300 employees, achieving successful outcomes through effective negotiation and litigation strategies.
  • Represented a refractories company as a defendant in complex civil litigation in Indonesia, involving claims of approximately USD 2.87 million, securing a favorable judgment for the client.
  • Represented clients in complex post-divorce asset division cases involving assets valued at up to USD 6.7 million across multiple jurisdictions, including coordination with Malaysian counsel to ensure enforceability.
