Yuen Law warmly welcomes Benedict Eoon as a Consultant in our Disputes Resolution Practice, further contributing to the strategic growth in one of our fastest growing areas. Benedict’s arrival follows the recent addition of P. Padman in March 2025, and reflects the growing demand for our expertise in handling complex and high stakes matters.

Benedict brings with him more than a decade of experience in high-value commercial litigation, international arbitration, and white-collar crime investigations. His practice spans a wide range of matters, including cross-border fraud asset recovery, corruption trials, and large-scale arbitrations administered by leading institutions such as the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Over the course of his accomplished career, he has represented multinational corporations, government-linked institutions, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals in some of Singapore’s most intricate and high-profile cases.

Amos Cai, Head of Disputes Resolution at Yuen Law, said: Benedict’s arrival enhances our ability to lead high-value cases across a wide range of industries, we warmly welcome him.

Amongst Benedict’s notable achievements is his successful representation of a businessman in an eight-figure arbitration claim against a previous business partner for wrongful seizure of company shares. He also acted for a Saudi company in securing an eight-figure decision in a cross-border fraud asset recovery claim. In another high-profile matter, he acted in a cheating case involving three directors that involved more than 80 charges, which led to an acquittal for one of the directors. The case gave rise to a landmark Court of Appeal judgment that recognised a common law right of access to documents in Singapore.

Prior to joining Yuen Law, Benedict practised at several of Singapore’s leading law firms. He is recognised as a “talented and driven lawyer who displays maturity and excellence in his work and is tenacious in advancing his clients’ causes.”

Samuel Yuen, Managing Director of Yuen Law, added: Benedict brings an impressive range of expertise in international disputes and complex investigations. His addition deepens our Disputes Resolution bench strength and reflects our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional support to our clients.
