David Joanisse is a founding partner of the firm and a seasoned civil and commercial litigator. His practice focuses on complex disputes, including shareholder conflicts, construction matters, contractual breaches, tendering processes, estates, and condominium law.

He advises and represents a broad range of clients, including entrepreneurs and companies in the construction, manufacturing, retail, technology, real estate, and utilities sectors. He is also frequently called upon in matters involving administrative and disciplinary law, as well as class actions.

David has appeared before all levels of court, including appellate courts, and has significant experience in arbitration. He regularly leads proceedings involving extraordinary remedies, including injunctions, safeguard orders, Anton Piller orders, and seizures before judgment. He also conducts independent disciplinary and harassment investigations.

He is actively involved in the cultural sector and has served for many years as a director of several non‑profit organizations.
