Nicolas’s practice focuses on shareholder disputes and directors’ and officers’ liability. He has developed advanced expertise in shareholder oppression remedies, including matters involving business valuation, the interpretation and enforcement of shareholder agreements, shotgun clauses, and the exercise of statutory and contractual rights.

In addition to litigation, Nicolas advises start‑ups and emerging businesses on governance and financing issues, bringing a practical and strategic perspective to complex corporate matters.

He is regularly involved in complex, multi‑jurisdictional disputes raising issues of private international law, including proceedings involving foreign states. His experience includes matters relating to the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

Nicolas also has significant experience in extraordinary remedies, including injunctions and seizures, as well as Anton Piller, Mareva, and Norwich orders, which he regularly handles in high‑stakes litigation.
