Lisa Parliament is a leading partner in litigation and dispute resolution, with a focus on class action defence and complex product liability, consumer protection, and competition litigation. Lisa represents some of the world’s top companies and often serves as national or global coordinating counsel, advising on multijurisdictional litigation and regulatory strategy. She has extensive experience as lead national counsel in Canadian class actions and has been involved in precedent-setting decisions on class action procedure, pre-certification dismissals, defence cost recovery, cross-border discovery, and settlements. She also advises on multijurisdictional investigations, including those involving privacy breaches, competition issues, and regulatory compliance.

Her practice includes significant experience in cross-border and international investigations, particularly cartel and conspiracy matters. She has defended clients in Competition Bureau and federal prosecution investigations, and in major class actions alleging anti-competitive conduct in sectors such as auto parts, air transportation, aftermarket auto lighting, hydrogen peroxide, and chocolate.

Lisa is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has participated in domestic and international arbitrations, including serving as an assistant to arbitral tribunals. She has also contributed to legal education as an adjunct professor in business dispute resolution at Osgoode Hall Law School.
