Recent case highlights:
- Represented one of leading companies in Vietnam’s oil and gas in its arbitration before Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) over EPC contract for the construction of an oil pipeline section.
- Represented the client (the Respondent) in its first major arbitration before Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) over construction contracts related to 7 disputes during the construction of an expressway project. The deal size is approximately USD 3.2m.
- Represented owners of the largest polyester manufacturing plant in Vietnam in an ICC arbitration in Singapore against the contractor.
- Represented the client before the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Singapore in relation to the dispute settlement under EPC Contract valued at USD 25m.
- Presented one of leading power enterprises in Vietnam before Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) in a dispute related to the procurement bidding process for imported coal.
- Represented PVTex in an ICC construction arbitration
- Advised Cola Cola Vietnam on parallel export and consumer protection cases
- Represented the Vietnamese Government in two landmark ICC arbitrations in Hong Kong involving a USD 500 million infrastructure project
- Represented Euro-Auto (BMW Vietnam) in a landmark USD 8.5 million tax dispute against the Vietnamese tax authority.
- Represented Ocean Pacific JV, operator of Sheraton Hotel, in a USD 55 million gambling win dispute
