The firm continues to represent a capital infrastructure development company in its $145 million arbitration claim against a South Asian state-owned entity in respect of a concession agreement to develop and build an island. This matter involved one of the first concession agreements signed in the Maldives. The abrupt termination has created a major political and economic issue for the government which is still unresolved.
