Anne Johnson is one of the top appellate lawyers in Texas. Clients on both sides of the docket routinely call on Anne to handle complex, high-stakes legal issues in both trial and appellate courts. Most recently, Anne reversed a $110 million fraud verdict against a major bank, and affirmed a multi-million judgment for a fracking company in an insurance coverage dispute.
In 2022, Anne joined Benchmark Litigation Star Jeff Tillotson and Jon Patton to form a trial and appellate boutique – Tillotson Johnson & Patton. Legal commentators called this move “the union of one of the state’s most respected appellate lawyers with one of the state’s most respected trial lawyers.”
Prior to joining Tillotson and Patton in 2022, Anne was an appellate partner in the Dallas office of Haynes Boone for 26 years, where she served on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, and chaired the Litigation Department.
