Carmine Zarlenga is a seasoned advocate with substantial first chair trial and arbitration experience in a wide variety of complex antitrust, commercial litigation, and intellectual property matters. During his twenty-plus year career, he has appeared in over 50 different state and federal courts across the United States on behalf of some of the largest national and international companies in the world. He is recognized as a Washington, DC "Superlawyer" for business litigation, by Best Lawyers in America in the area of advertising law, and by BTI as a Client Service All-Star and "Cream of the Crop Litigator."
Mr. Zarlenga's litigation experience ranges from large, complex class actions with claimed damages in excess of $1 billion and attendant publicity to smaller, private disputes. He has handled matters involving antitrust, contract, employment, fraud, business torts, trade secrets, intellectual property, unfair trade practices, and false advertising. He has successfully argued numerous appeals. In addition, Mr. Zarlenga regularly counsels leading companies on marketing, distribution, pricing, advertising, and other trade practice matters.
Mr. Zarlenga has substantial ADR experience, including numerous arbitrations and mediations. He has directly negotiated settlements in litigation and non-litigation matters. In matters requiring litigation, he has examined, cross-examined, and defended witnesses including CEOs and CFOs. He has worked with (and against) nationally renowned experts in the fields of economics, finance, marketing, accounting, and forensics.
