Lawyer Li Chen is currently a Senior Partner at Beijing Dacheng Law Offices,LLP (Shanghai), Co-Head of the Dispute Resolution in Dacheng China Region, master's Supervisor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and an Arbitrator at Shanghai Arbitration Commission, mainly specializing in dispute resolution in the fields of financial and real estate sectors and has handled a large number of major, difficult, and complex dispute resolution cases.

  • A series of claims disputes arising from the "contaminated land" in Suzhou with a subject amount of 10 billion yuan, serving a listed state-owned real estate enterprise. Lawyer Li Chen proposed an innovative solution highly recognized by the client. This case is the first representative case in China involving soil pollution in real estate equity transactions. He formed a cross-professional team to propose an innovative plan of "equity exit via land withdrawal", breaking through contract limitations, focusing on tort liability for land transfer, and solving jurisdiction and statute of limitations issues.
  • A series of disputes over the first-level land cooperative development contract for a characteristic town in Shanghai with a subject amount of 6.5 billion yuan, serving a famous Hong Kong real estate listed company, a well-known domestic real estate development company, and a town investment company. After seven years of representation by Lawyer Li Chen, the two parties reached a settlement. This case clarified that the legal nature of the first-level land cooperative development model belongs to a cooperative development relationship rather than a principal-agent relationship, which has reference significance for maintaining the contractual spirit under the "government-enterprise cooperation" model. It won the "Outstanding Deal Award" in 2024 by China Business Law Journal.
  • Litigation confirmation and enforcement disputes over stock-pledged repurchase with a total subject amount of over 3 billion yuan, serving multiple financial institutions. Lawyer Li Chen achieved debt claim through comprehensive judicial procedures, successfully preserved core assets, and some cases achieved 100% recovery of claims. In this case, Lawyer Li Chen handled stock pledge defaults of 8 listed companies including NetPosa in batches, promoted litigation preservation and non-litigation negotiations synergistically, and innovatively used the strategy of "promoting negotiation through litigation" to improve the efficiency of payment recovery.
