A true litigator, Daniel handles complex litigation, injunctions, arbitrations and regulatory and white-collar investigations for clients in a variety of industries. He favours a highly strategic approach to litigation and possesses the tactical acumen to deliver successful results.
He often acts for national and international corporations, as well as financial institutions, dealers and brokers (registrants) in commercial and securities disputes. He acts for clients in a wide variety of civil and statutory proceedings, including general commercial litigation and regulatory investigations.
He has significant trial experience in intellectual property litigation, primarily with respect to trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
Daniel also acts for a variety of Indigenous clients, asserting claims related to ancestral rights, land rights, and business disputes arising on Reserve land.
