Duncan is a Partner in the Labour and Employment group and a member of BLG’s National Board. He practises in all areas of labour and employment law. He provides advice to clients on dismissal procedures, dispute resolution, managing downsizing and other cost-saving exercises, employment litigation and corporate due diligence. He frequently provides training including to civil court provincial judges on employment law updates. Duncan acts as a part-time Commissioner for the Alberta Human Rights Commission. He also broke a world record for the fastest linked marathon as a charitable fundraising initiative.
Duncan was called to the England and Wales Bar in 2000 and the Alberta Bar in 2009.
Duncan was appointed to the King's Counsel in 2024.
