Jenna Dabbs is a Partner at Hecker & Fink LLP. She is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer whose practice focuses on government and internal investigations, white collar criminal defense, complex civil litigation and regulatory compliance.
Jenna draws on her experience as a former federal prosecutor, with extensive trial and investigative experience in both the public and private sectors, to represent individuals and corporations in internal investigations and in a wide variety of government and regulatory investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), FINRA and other regulatory agencies. Among other things, those investigations involve securities and corporate fraud, insider trading, market manipulation, money laundering, tax fraud, prescription drug diversion and public corruption.
Jenna also represents individuals and corporations in complex contract and employment disputes and other crisis situations. Her clients include a Fortune 500 government contractor, a large mutual insurance company, global financial institutions, a prominent global consulting firm, and several private equity and investment management firms. Jenna also represents executives and directors of large financial institutions; pharmaceutical, logistics, and industrial conglomerates; and other companies.
Jenna previously served as a former Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York (SDNY), where she served as Chief of the Narcotics Unit for two years, and a member of both the Securities and Commodities Task Force and the Terrorism and International Narcotics Unit. Jenna has directed and supervised hundreds of investigations across a wide array of matters and has briefed and argued numerous criminal appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Jenna has received extensive acclaim for her work. Chambers ranks Jenna as one of New York’s top litigators in white-collar crime and government investigations, and in 2024, she was named “White Colar Crime Lawyers of the Year” at the Women in Business Law Americas Awards. Previously, Jenna was named to Global Investigations Review’s (GIR) “Women in Investigations” survey and to Crain’s New York Business’ “Most Notable Women in Law” list.
Jenna maintains an active pro bono practice. She serves as appointed counsel for indigent defendants as a member of the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel in the SDNY, chairs New York City Bar’s White-Collar Committee, and serves on the board of the Legal Aid Society.
