Regional general manager of the Ottawa Disputes Group (Commercial Litigation and Construction) and national leader of BLG’s Team North Focus Group. Practises as an estates and commercial litigator in Ontario and Nunavut. Has extensive experience with alternative dispute resolution, including as mediator in estates matters. Has written and presented on commercial litigation and estates matters for programs hosted by the Law Society of Ontario, OBA, County of Carleton Law Association, STEP, and others. Provides clients with advice and representation in all aspects of commercial litigation and estate litigation (including passing of accounts, will challenges, guardianship applications, and removal applications). Has represented clients before the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Small Claims Court, and the Nunavut Court of Justice. Has appeared before administrative tribunals. Completed mediation and leadership courses at Harvard Executive Education. Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws in 2001 from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Social Sciences, Honours, 1998.
Called to the Ontario Bar in 2002 (highest marks in Ottawa and second-highest marks in Ontario) and the Nunavut Bar in 2010.
