With over thirty years of experience, Kim is a recognized leader in her field. As a senior partner at Harper Grey and an elected member of the firm’s Practice Management Committee, she is routinely acknowledged by various legal ranking publications. Kim is known among clients and colleagues as strategic, tenacious, and knowledgeable.
Kim maintains a busy, broad-based practice. Her civil litigation practice has included professional liability, general insurance, and major property loss disputes. She has also represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters. Her administrative law practice encompasses regulatory work for various professions.
Kim has become very knowledgeable in the field of MAiD (medical assistance in dying) and has had numerous opportunities to speak on this issue within the legal and medical communities.
In addition to her legal practice, Kim has an active mediation practice. She possesses key insights into mediation in civil litigation and workplace disputes, given her extensive experience in civil litigation and regulatory matters. She is a Roster member with Mediate BC and was an early adopter of virtual mediation, continuing to effectively mediate through this forum.
Active in the legal community and a proponent of gender parity in the profession, Kim is the co-founder of Life in Law, a free resource for all lawyers in Canada who self-identify as women and seek help balancing life and law.
