Morgan Menchaca is a partner in the Austin office of Reid Collins & Tsai. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She has represented plaintiffs in a range of matters in state and federal courts, including fraud and negligence actions, breaches of fiduciary duty, professional malpractice, federal qui tam whistleblower actions, fraudulent transfer actions, and litigation stemming from corporate insolvency proceedings. For her professional achievements, Morgan is recognized as one of the nation’s top young lawyers by Lawdragon® in “500 X – The Next Generation,” and by Best Lawyers in America® – “Ones to Watch.” Prior to joining Reid Collins, Morgan worked as an associate in the Austin office of Baker Botts LLP and served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Nathan L. Hecht of the Texas Supreme Court. Morgan received her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where she was a Production Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. She received her B.A. in history, cum laude, from Harvard College.
