Nafisah Chowdhury practices employment law and commercial litigation. She provides strategic day-to-day advice to businesses of all sizes on workplace issues, corporate disputes, and privacy law. Known for her pragmatic and prompt counsel, Nafisah’s litigation work includes enforcing restrictive covenants, defending wrongful dismissal claims, and recovering confidential information from departing employees. She regularly appears before courts and tribunals.
Nafisah is a past executive member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Labour & Employment Section and The Advocates’ Society’s Labour & Employment Practice Group. She has been recognized with the Lexpert Rising Star Award and listed in The Best Lawyers in Canada for her employment law expertise.
Outside her legal work, Nafisah is active in the community. She serves on the board of the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) and holds the ICD.D designation. She is also a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal for leadership and service to Canada.
