Rich Moore represents clients in a broad range of complex civil litigation and arbitration matters across the United States and internationally. Rich’s practice focuses primarily on two areas.


First, Rich’s civil litigation practice concentrates on the areas of product liability, mass torts, and consumer class actions. Rich has represented clients in federal and state courts across the United States in matters involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, food and beverages, financial instruments, and a wide variety of other products.


Second, Rich has extensive experience in international arbitration. He has represented clients in high-stakes commercial disputes across the globe and before the world’s leading arbitral institutions.


Rich grew up in Barnwell, South Carolina. He graduated from Princeton University in 1995, then spent four years on Capitol Hill working for United States Senator Ernest F. Hollings.  Rich received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was in the Order of the Coif. After law school, Rich served two years as a law clerk to Judge David C. Norton of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina before joining Williams & Connolly in 2003.
