Sandra is a trial lawyer with significant experience representing her corporate clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, with an emphasis on product and pharmaceutical litigation. An accomplished litigator and former Assistant District Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco, Sandra has successfully represented a wide range of clients in federal and state courts in various individual and multi-district litigation, coordinated proceedings, and class action lawsuits.
She has represented major U.S. and international corporations and throughout the West Coast, and some of her recent trial and litigation successes involve: product liability; pharmaceutical liability; toxic torts; commercial disputes; groundwater and contaminated sites; the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA); Proposition 65; and private attorney general actions and citizen suits.
Sandra has deep ties to the Bay Area, and served as the General Counsel and on the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce for eight years. She is a member of the Environmental Law Institute, Women in Environmental Law & Leadership, and is a sustaining member of the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). She has held various leadership roles within the Environmental Litigation Committee, American Bar Association Section of Litigation since 2006.
Sandra’s experience has led her to be recognized by Benchmark Litigation as one of the “Top 250 Women in Litigation 2019,” listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Product Liability Litigation-Defense (2018-2019) and Litigation-Environmental (2019), and selected to the Northern California Super Lawyers (2014–2019).
