Sharmistha Chakrabarti advises clients in commercial and investor-state arbitrations in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, media, and oil and gas. Ms. Chakrabarti has worked on matters before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), as well as before tribunals constituted under the Arbitration Rules of the United Nations Commission of International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), among other representations. She also regularly provides strategic advice on drafting dispute resolution clauses in international commercial contracts. In recognition of her work, Ms. Chakrabarti was selected for inclusion in Benchmark Litigation’s 2024 40 and Under list and named one of Best Lawyers’ Ones To Watch in America.
