Tanner is a Partner at SB LLP, having practiced law since 2020.
While he maintains a broad litigation practice, Tanner has primarily practiced in commercial litigation, with an emphasis on collections, condominium litigation, commercial lease disputes, construction litigation, shareholder disputes and energy law.
Tanner has acted as legal Counsel for commercial developers, utility providers, political parties, and condominium corporations, among many others.
Given the nature of Tanner’s practice, participating in Arbitration proceedings has become commonplace.
He has also represented clients at the Supreme Court of British Columbia, Alberta Court of Justice, and Alberta Court of King’s Bench. He currently has a matter before the Alberta Court of Appeal.
Tanner is a regular volunteer and member of the Board of Directors for the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton.
