David Miachika is a Vancouver‑based senior counsel at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP who practises exclusively in construction, real estate and civil liability dispute resolution. He advises a wide range of clients on construction, infrastructure and procurement matters and represents parties at all levels of court in British Columbia. David’s practice draws on his combined legal and technical background, including his professional engineering experience, and focuses on resolving complex disputes arising from major construction and infrastructure projects.
David is a professional engineer registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (since 1984). Prior to joining BLG, he worked for several major construction companies as a project manager, engineer and superintendent on significant industrial, commercial, heavy civil and marine construction projects in British Columbia and Nova Scotia, including the Revelstoke Dam, Quintette Coal conveyor and Expo ’86.
David was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1989.
