Sébastien C. Caron, Ad. E., ICD.D, is a founding partner of LCM Attorneys Inc., its first Managing Partner, and now Chairman of the Board. He focuses his practice on litigation, commercial and securities law, and arbitration, and regularly appears before all levels of court and administrative tribunals.
He represents financial institutions, insurers, securities brokers and advisors, as well as public utilities and multinational corporations, in complex, high‑stakes disputes. His clients include leading organizations such as the Fédération des caisses Desjardins, the California State Teachers’ Retirement System, AON Canada Inc., and Hydro‑Québec.
Sébastien has extensive experience in class actions, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution, and is a former Chair of the Class Actions Section of the Canadian Bar Association (Québec Branch).
He has been awarded the Québec Bar’s honorary title of Advocatus Emeritus and is recognized as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation, as well as a leading practitioner by Chambers, The Best Lawyers in Canada, and Lexpert. He is actively involved in the profession and the community, including as Vice‑Chair of the Québec Advisory Committee of The Advocates’ Society.
