Polsinelli has hired a new healthcare focused litigator in Nashville.
David King joins the healthcare litigation and disputes practice as a partner from Bass Berry & Sims.
King represents healthcare providers including for-profit and nonprofit hospital systems, ambulatory surgery centers, behavioral health providers, physician groups, medical device companies, air ambulance companies, and other ancillary service providers.
He acts on disputes with health insurance companies such as contract disputes, medical necessity denials, out-of-network underpayments and related legal issues involving the Affordable Care Act and ERISA. He also advises on managed care strategies and contracting, as well as proposed laws seeking to establish rates and/or dispute resolution procedures for out-of-network providers.
King is one of three recent hires in Nashville with Polsinelli also hiring Merri Barr Gordon as counsel and Luke Salyers as an associate.
