Reed Smith has re-hired Rizwan Qureshi as a partner in the Global Regulatory Enforcement Group in Washington DC.
Qureshi re-joins the firm from the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia where he was an Assistant United States Attorney.
Qureshi had been part of the cybercrime section of the Criminal Division, as well as serving in various positions in the Superior Court Division. He acted on federal grand jury investigations and prosecuted matters involving wire fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, hacking, business email compromise schemes, aggravated identity theft and various violent crimes.
Qureshi focuses on criminal and civil government investigations and internal investigations.
