Comprising the nine Mainland China cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhaoqing and the Special Administrative Regions (“SARs”) of Hong Kong and Macao, the GBA spans an area of 56,000 km2 with a combined population of over 72 million and ranks as the world’s 12th largest economy.
