Established in 2007, ATIM is a full-service legal and consulting firm with a dedicated dispute settlement department. On the contentious front, the team primarily handles commercial and contract, corporate and M&A, employment, civil, real estate and family disputes. In addition to these areas, the firm was active on construction disputes over the past year. The firm has built close alliances with other regional law firms to offer a seamless service to clients.
The three leaders of the dispute resolution team are senior partners Quang Trinh and Hien Nguyen, and managing partner Huynh Nguyen.
One highlight had the team represent a Swiss company and a US company on their contract dispute with a Vietnamese medical glove supplier. A Vietnamese renewable energy company enlisted the firm to work out its tax dispute with the Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department in relation to its decision to impose a fine on the client.
On the insolvency front, the firm assisted a large steel manufacturing company to recover bad debt from an export-import investment joint stock company. It also defended a local real estate company against a private bank in a dispute related to a credit agreement and mortgage contract.
