Newly formed boutique Lighthouse Law has core strengths in white-collar crime and investigations, and general dispute resolution. Within the white-collar practice, the team has a solid track record of acting on economic crimes, securities offences and corruption matters. On the disputes side, the practice comprises international arbitration, real estate and trust disputes, along with the recovery of assets following fraud. The firm is a part of US-based Aliant Law, a global law firm. Lighthouse is its second office in the region.
The disputes practice is led by managing partner Adrian Wee and partner Rachel Soh, who both joined from Characterist.
In one highlight, the team acted as defence counsel for a director of a Singapore firm linked to the collapse of German payments firm Wirecard.
